Bodmin 1 v 3 Liskeard - Sunday 11th Feb

Liskeard ran out winners in one of the best under 9 games seen this season at Coldharbour on Sunday.
Bodmin started the better and came close with a couple of early chances whch produced good saves from the Liskeard Goalkeeper. After 10 minutes an excellent move from Liskeard ended with their centre forward smashing an unstoppable shot past our Stand in keeper, Roland. Both teams continued to try and play good football during the remainder of the first half during which no further goals were scored.
The second half began with Siam replacing Roland in the Bodmin goal and almost instantly making a great save from a Liskeard shot. Chances were again missed by both sides before a second Liskeard goal putting them 2-0 up. In the final minute a good run fromFin saw him brought down for a penalty which he duly converted to give Bodmin hope of a recovery, but from the restart Liskeard scored another good goal from the edge of the box after a poor clearance.
An excellent game of football enjoyed by both teams and for once played in the sunshine!
